2008-2009 Gold Excellence and Total Quality |

The Hartford Section Leadership team is proud to report the membership that the Hartford Section of ASQ has achieved Total Quality and Gold Excellence once again for the 2008-2009 fiscal year. I received the confirmation email from Leta Thrasher this week confirming this recognition. The Hartford Section was one of 40 sections to achieve Gold. There were 40 who achieved Silver level and 14 who achieved Bronze level. For the Total Quality level there were 79 total sections to reach this level of achievement. This number might increase as there were some paperwork and confirmation issues at ASQ Headquarters this year. Hopefully the number will grow by the time we have our World Conference on Quality and Improvement in St. Louis in May of this year. We currently have some 144 sections in ASQ.
