We wear many hats throughtout the day, and therefore our lives. The Woman in Quality Network (WIQ) is a place where you can just be yourself. It is an opportunity to learn form others, network, and share.

WIQ is a membership of women and men who strive to create an environment in quality profession that allows each woman the ability to achieve her fullest potential. WIQ provides the opportunity to network in the quality profession and to learn from each other.

Dorian Shainin Medal

Dorian Shainin, a long time member of ASQ Hartford and the North East Quality Council, is best known for the "Shainin Techniques" - practical tools he developed to help manufacturers solve problems, including problems that had been considered unsolvable.
