Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Windsor, CT 
Relocation: Available
Salary to 90K plus bonus up to 30%

Our Windsor, CT based client has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager. This role represents an outstanding opportunity to join The Aerospace’s OEM Group.  In this role, you will develop and maintain a world class quality system for Aerospace’s Windsor Division OEM business.  Additionally, you will contribute, as a Division management team member, in setting the direction and goals to assure the continued success of the Windsor Division.
   
Core Responsibilities:
• Direct activities of all quality engineers.
• Initiate, implement, maintain and enhance proactive quality improvement activities to continuously improve manufacturing quality.
• Manage all dimensional inspection including:  incoming, in-process, and final.
• Direct activities in F.P.I./N.D.T. inspection areas.  Assure that all certifications are in effect.
• Maintain all Quality records according to certification and regulations.
• Supervise gage control

Education, Experiential and Behavioral Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in technical field or related business field required.  MBA preferred.
• 7+ years experience in aerospace manufacturing quality environment required.
• Strong computer skills.
• Must have runway experience
• Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated successful project management skills and the ability to contribute to strategic decision making processes, while driving detailed implementation plans.
• Proven success interacting with customers, peers, senior management and other functional areas to assure the best quality systems are in place and being adhered to.
• Experience evaluating current processes and developing sound recommendations for improvement.
