Position:    Sr. Team Leader, Inspection  
Summary: Maintains Quality Assurance program for all product lines in support of Companies objectives and customer requirements of quality and timeliness. Ensures adherence to documented procedures for all inspection activities. 

Responsibilities:
1.  Supervises the team to ensure high level of productivity and quality.  Ensures that staff works as a team.  Leads by example, communicates information and provides training on new procedures.  Determines performance expectations, evaluates performance and provides coaching and training opportunities.  Handles employee issues in a timely way. 
 
2.  Ensures that productivity and quality standards and measures are met for inspectors. Trains inspectors in Quality Assurance procedures.  Communicates information to appropriate to departments and individuals.  Provides reports to management. 
 
3.  Ensures that inspection work assignments are carried out in an organized and efficient manner.  Assists and guides inspection personnel regarding issues that arise from Quality Assurance concerns.  Responsible for inspection performance and measurements.
 
4.  Assists in the creation of First Article Inspection templates when required.
 
5.  Reviews customer returns to confirm rejections.  Checks current inventory and work in process to assure that there are no instances of discrepant conditions.  Verifies that materials applied to “D-tags” are properly dispositioned and processed.
 
6.  Identifies problem areas in the inspection process.  Develops, implements and monitors appropriate solutions.  Works with manufacturing management to resolve issues relating to IOC’s and rework solutions.
 
7.  Maintains clean and safe work environment.  Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations.  Reports safety incidents to supervisor.  Ensures that scrap is controlled and disposed of in the proper manner.
 
8.  Makes recommendations for improvements to work processes.  Ensures that group maintains 5 S program.
 
9.  Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers.  Contributes to positive teamwork environment. 
 
10.  Performs other duties as assigned.  Participates in training/learning other positions.  Accomplishes related results as needed.
 

Qualifications:
Education:  BS Degree in Industrial Technology, Quality Assurance or Business Administration.

Experience:  BS Degree in Industrial Technology, Quality Assurance or Business Administration.
