Happy August to all! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and are planning on joining us this September 11th, which is now known as Patriot’s Day for the entire nation. We will have Lars Gacad speaking on the subject of Strategic Quality Planning. Our Section will also be awarding Yarde Metals a special recognition award for excellence in productivity and quality improvement. The Executive Committee and Awards Committee were quite impressed with Yarde Metals and combined felt that this recognition award should be given to the team at Yarde Metals. The next subject I would like to bring up is our fall offering by the Education team.
