January 10, 2019 - Common Quality Standards
Common Quality Standards - First Automotive and now the Aerospace Engine Supply Chain as presented by Pete Teti.
Regardless of what industry a business may be part of, if it serves multiple customers, and each one flows down similar but different quality requirements, it can drive cost and inefficiency for the business.
Taking a page out of the automotive industry playbook, the Aero Engine Supplier Quality (AESQ) Group was formed in 2013 to drive common quality standards to the engine component supply chain.
Pete Teti, Quality Engineering Fellow at Pratt and Whitney and long time ASQ Hartford member, will present on the AESQ history, purpose, published standards, and future activities.
